GreenSync Officially Opens GreenRoom Industry Collaboration Space

Technology companies, utilities and regulators will have a new industry collaboration space to work together to harness opportunities, solve problems and explore innovation with the opening of the GreenRoom, an industry collaboration space at the Australian headquarters of GreenSync in Melbourne.

The GreenRoom was officially launched today at an invitation only event where over 200 guests were ushered through a tour of the space which includes a hot desk area for 18 people, boardroom, lunch area and a large balcony that overlooks Flagstaff Gardens.

GreenSync invites organisations to come together to work at the GreenRoom as it seeks to find solutions for the grid as renewable energy increasingly becomes the dominant source of energy generation. To support the industry, GreenRoom has launched with a program of events and an open invitation for members of the industry to utilise the space as needed. Possible uses include workshops, meetings, week-long sprints, and any activity that contributes to helps the industry move forward. GreenSync CEO & founder, Dr Phil Blythe said, “We’re excited to announce the opening of GreenRoom, a place which we hope represents a genuine drive toward a better, smarter energy industry that can push differences aside and work together for the greater good.”

“The industry has some monumental challenges not just in the future but right here, right now, and together we must continue to innovate to create a smarter, cleaner and more cost effective energy system for Australians.” – Dr Phil Blythe.

GreenRoom will launch a series of industry workshops starting in November, with events to be announced via GreenSync’s LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook pages.
